Travel Poster World Clock Copenhagen Jens Olsen Midcentury Modern. Original vintage travel poster featuring a great illustration by the Danish artist Aage Rasmussen (1889-1983) depicting the astronomical world clock and perpetual calendar designed by the Danish locksmith, clockmaker and astromechanic Jens Olsen (1872-1945), displayed in the Copenhagen City Hall Denmark - Jens Olsens Verdensur Kobenhavns Radhus - depicting a crescent moon above the earth surrounded by Roman numerals of a clock face with numbers around a shining sun behind the globe and the city hall building below, a gold part of the middle section above the title text against the blue background. Printed by Andreasen Lachmann, Copenhagen Denmark. Very good condition, repaired tear on the bottom edge.
