Hickory Wood and Arthur Collins. Colourful image by the notable English illustrator, poster designer and cartoonist John Hassall (1868-1948) depicting a smartly dressed man coaxing two children towards two unshaven men, one with a money pouch and a dagger knife on his belt, the young girl wheeling a toy dog on a red ribbon behind her and the boy holding his hat behind his back.
