Original vintage LNER London and North Eastern Railway poster designed by one of England's leading poster artists Austin Cooper (1890-1964) titled Old World Market Places Boston. Great image featuring a busy market town scene in Boston below St Botolph's Church (known as the Boston Stump / The Stump) in this historic Lincolnshire port town on the East coast of England with smartly dressed gentlemen and ladies wearing top hats and bonnets and carrying baskets, children playing traditional games and covered stalls lined up around the square. Good condition, minor loss on bottom left corner, restored folds, creases and pinholes, backed on linen. Country of issue: UK, designer: Austin Cooper, size (cm): 101.5x63.5, year of printing: 1927.
