Advertising Poster Post Office Mail Coach GPO Armstrong. Original vintage education series advertising poster - Mail Coach A.D. 1784 - published by the General Post Office (GPO). Great design by the British artist and muralist John Rutherford Armstrong (1893-1973) of a horse drawn mail coach with GR (King George VI; 1895-1952; ruled 1936-1952) on the side of the carriage full of post bags and four men sitting on top, one blowing on a trumpet as they drive past a mansion house in the distance.
