Advertising Poster Bieres De Montmorillon Beer Ale Alcohol Brewery. Original vintage alcohol advertising poster for Bieres de Montmorillon featuring a fun image of a gentleman in a red coat and top hat licking the foam of a large beer tankard, yellow lettering below set over a black background. Brasserie de Montmorillon was opened in 1843 in the town of Montmorillon, at the time Montmorillon beers became the best-selling beer throughout France, the brewery closed in 1963 to reopen in 2015. At the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, the delivery of beers from the Brewery was done by horse-drawn car, Victor Deslandes whose image was taken for the current logo of the company, was a delivery man and postillion of the Brasserie de Montmorillon.
