Original vintage drink advertising poster for a French anise liquor La Comete - delicieuse liqueur a l'anis L'extincteuer de la soif! / thirst extinguisher! - featuring a fun image by the book illustrator and artist Joseph Hemard (1880-1961) of a winged waiter holding an extinguisher of La Comete and spraying the drink into the mouth of a hot and thirsty man sitting on a garden chair with the stylised lettering above and below.
